Has the Abbot's "1 acre of personal land" been confirmed? Last I heard, the Emperor had said it was gold or nothing. BuckarooMu 10:15, 9 April 2008 (PDT)

I can confirm it. My very first visit by the abbot after buying the Federation HUD was greeted by a gift of one acre to each of my direct subjects. ValentineJanus 14:22, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Timing of Festivals

Festivals do not appear to be linked to the pattern of the Trader any longer. What seems to be the current pattern or frequency? ValentineJanus 18:13, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Research Acumen Research

I am researching famine and had previously researched crime fully. I have purchased two research acumens from the alchemist and I am beginning to feel they do not work when you are "coming down" from a previous research. I purchased the first at 5 researches, and have never seen any modified messages besides the normal "The local populace is greatful of your intrests in the sciences but you seem to have forgotten some of the finer points of crime prevention etc." and it seems to have put the pin in it when I purchased the second acumen, as I got the message "You feel observant two times over" which indicates that the first one was never used. Wether purchasing multiple acumens simply gives you the boost for multiple researches or if it doubles the effect of one research remains to be seen, but I will not be migrating my research away from famine untill I have finished some personal goals. If you wish to discuss this with me you can reach me ingame @ Pseudo Exodus. -71.131.16.43 00:01, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

I know this is an old comment, but it seems clear to me, at least from what's in the outline and general discussion, that only one field of research may be done fully. Choosing one forsakes all others. Correct me if I'm wrong? --Azadine Umarov 08:58, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
