== Research Acumen Research ==

I am researching famine and had previously researched crime fully. I have purchased two research acumens from the alchemist and I am beginning to feel they do not work when you are "coming down" from a previous research. I purchased the first at 5 researches, and have never seen any modified messages besides the normal "The local populace is greatful of your intrests in the sciences but you seem to have forgotten some of the finer points of crime prevention etc." and it seems to have put the pin in it when I purchased the second acumen, as I got the message "You feel observant two times over" which indicates that the first one was never used. Wether purchasing multiple acumens simply gives you the boost for multiple researches or if it doubles the effect of one research remains to be seen, but I will not be migrating my research away from famine untill I have finished some personal goals.
